Learn to Row 2024

The Easter Courses (both Adult and Junior), were challenged with pesky wind and rain, so flexibility and ‘catch up’ sessions were required through the spring.

The Summer courses (Juniors only), were blessed with perfect sunshine and light wind days. Thank goodness!

  • 12 New Junior Members into the Junior Development Squad preparing for inclusion into JLARC Race Squad for 2024/25.

  • 6 New Adults members some now preparing to race in the Novice category at S.C.C. 2024 in September.

The new additions for 2024 of the floating pontoon, the use of the bow mentored doubles and the offshore Swift quad have added an extra dimension to the learn to row courses.

Thanks to all of the SLARC/ JLARC mentors who assist on these courses. We couldn’t do it without you.
