3 Hour Adventures

EAST: Lymington-Pylwell Lakes- Tanners Lane - Sowley- Lepe or Newtown Creek- return

WEST: Lymington-Oxey Lakes- Keyhaven or Totland Bay- return

• A 3 hour Coxed adventure in a Swift Offshore Quad, suitable for any *sculler ‘with adventuring/ longer distance outing experience. We expect to cover c. 12-16 k in this session depending on conditions/ crew strength.

• Lymington offers a beautiful setting; river, lake and the open Western Solent between mainland and the Isle of Wight. We can adventure East towards Lepe Beach/ Newtown Creek and West towards Keyhaven and Hurst Castle/ Totland Bay.

• Bring a dry bag, water and snacks required for the duration.

• Wear appropriate kit for the conditions of the day.

• Stops will be possible, so appropriate ‘water shoes/ old trainers’ should be considered for landings.

• VHF radio, tool kit, first aid kit and lifejackets for all, on board

• The Adventure Lead will be Kirsten Melin

*Adventuring is not a Learn to Row offering. Any sculler not known to the Adventure Lead will be requested to submit evidence of competency via video link to ensure all crew outings have a positive experience.
