New Member Quad Sessions (C4x+)
Following on from the Try Crew Rowing Course, New member Quad sessions are supported by experienced Stroke and Bow seat mentor rowers.
The focus is on safety, sequenced skill consolidation in seat 2 and 3 and steadily preparing New Members for the Beginner Quad Sessions. Guided boat handling.
Beginner Quad Sessions (C4x+)
Once into Beginner Quad Sessions, members will begin in seat 2 and 3 and will progress into rowing confidently in all seats (including bow and stroke), prior to advancing to Mixed Development Sessions.
The focus is on upskilling for each seat position. Supported boat handling.
Development Quad Sessions (C4x+)/Four (C4+)
Mixed level quad or four outings, coach-coxed or crew-coxed with rib support; a sociable row.
The focus is on technique and general fitness. Confident boat handling.
Competitive Squad/Learn2Race Sessions (C4x+)/Four (C4+)
Quad or four (sweep) outings for off-peak members with race level fitness/ability goals; coach-coxed or crew-coxed with rib support.
The focus is on technique, endurance and speed fitness and race skills.
Competent Crew Rower Led- Free Water Sessions
The Lentuna Quad is available for Rec Row use at off peak times, (giving priority use to the Race Squads).
A Competent Crew lead can organise their own FREE outing by reserving the Lentuna via the booking portal, finding a full crew, and using a squad member as their cox on a rotational basis.
