Colin Fagan Spring Head- June 6 2021

£435 raised for Cancer Research UK in Colin’s name & 44 very happy racers ready for the H&DARA season to start.

The wind and tide finally aligned…Only a glimpse of sunshine but otherwise, it was perfect conditions for a magnificent return to racing at our NEW annual head race in memory of Colin Fagan.

20 entries, 44 rowers racing over a 3 hour /2 division event that ran like clockwork under the watchful eye of Colin’s own stopwatch.

Well done to the organising team for making that happen. Hugo Mike and Pete on pontoon change over, Jane, Marc and Will on start line and drone photography, Terry as midcourse marshall and Stan, Denny and Anna T on the finish line.

So, so good to get racing again.
