WORKSHOP: Saturday November 25th 2023 12.00-17.00 @LARC

British Rowing’s Master Indoor Trainer will deliver an inhouse workshop for 12 prospective Indoor Rowing Coaches to support LARC becoming a BR accredited Indoor Rowing Club.

Anyone interested in applying for one of these 12 places should email lymingtonarc1881@gmail.com.

Priority will be given to those offering to become part of our growing coaching/ support team to co-ordinate Indoor Rowing Sessions in the new LARC Go Row Indoor Programme.

We encourage interest from all 3 areas of the club; Junior Race, Adult Race and Recreational Rowing.

Key Learnings and Benefits:

At the end of this workshop you will become a Go Row Indoor Instructor and be able to:

• Confidently teach the British Rowing technique. 

• Include indoor rowing in a gym induction. 

• Create an indoor rowing focused training plan for participants as well as fitness testing.

• Build knowledge around adaptive rowing and technology to enhance the indoor rowing experience.

• Understand the full potential of the indoor rowing machine and how it can be adapted to suit any individual regardless of shape, size, age, fitness level or ability. 

• Run 'Go Row Indoor' or other indoor rowing based fitness classes/ indoor rowing sessions at your club.
